This week’s photo prompt for The Daily Post’s photo challenge was: Vivid.

One of the best parts about taking pictures of children is how wonderful colors play a huge role in making their pictures come alive. I love dressing my children up in bright colors against lush backgrounds. I’ve used yellow couches, the green and teal walls in my house, even a red door, lol. This picture was taken in Carmel by the Sea outside our hotel. The funny part was this was taken on the side of the parking lot with a busy road in the background. I angled it to cut out the road and made my daughter stand in what would be considered weeds. From the color of the greenery to her dress to the flower in her hand every thing came out so….vivid.

Enjoy! And come join the fun 🙂
